Do I need a doctor’s referral to come to physiotherapy?

A referral from your doctor is not required to receive physiotherapy. You can directly book an appointment.

Do you do direct billing for extended health benefits?

We do direct billing for majority of extended health benefit plans. We will also provide you with a detail receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, if not billed directly.

How long will my appointment take?

Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a New Patient Form and complete payment.
Generally initial appointments take about 30-45 minutes and subsequent visits range from 20 minutes to 30 minutes. However, the length of your appointment will vary depending on your situation.

How many appointments will I need?

This varies from patient to patient depending on the condition.  At your first session, physiotherapist will perform a neuro musclulo-skeletal assessment and discuss the identified problems, diagnosis, treatment plan including number of required sessions, and outcomes of the treatment with you.
Your physiotherapist will work closely with you to help you achieve your functional goals.

Are we in contact with your doctor?

We will send a detailed assessment and progress report to your physician for their input if you request/consent which will enhance a collabrative practice.
We can also get your reports directly from the hospital/diagnostic centres if you consent, which will help in developing a comprehensive tretment plan.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Motor Vehicle Accident Patients- Please bring insurance details including claim number, name of the insurance company, and policy details.
Private Insurance Companies- Policy number and group number etc.(Please bring the card issued by the insurance company)
